Hello dear community and SAP experts,
I am currently working on a public sector client that has implemented the FM module with the multi-year budget functionality.
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide->Public Sector Management->Funds Management Government->Basic Settings->Activate Multi-Year Budget Execution
This customer wants to deactivate this functionality to perform the budget execution annually, i.e. control the budget annually and at the end of the fiscal year report the budget commitments to the new fiscal year (FMJ2). We already proposed to them to use the balance report with the FMVT transaction, but this does not fulfill the customer's requirement basically because the budget consumption is recorded in the year N-1.
My question is if it is possible to deactivate this functionality and what would be the impact of doing so?
Best regards,
Luis.
