Confirmation type for Control keys for operations

Hello guys

I want to know how to choose the type of confirmation for control keys for operations mainly for MES.

And what is meant by Milestone confirmation ? Confirmation required ? Confirmation not possible ? Possible but not necessary ?

In which step this can be used ?

Dear,

1. Mile Stone Confirmation :Assume that you have 5 operations in routing and if you select the 3rd and 5th operation as Milestone operation then the 1st and 2nd operation will be confirmed Automatically when you confirm 3rd operation and it is mandatory to confirm the Milestone operation
2. Confirmation Required : in the above said example you can use the control key with confirmation required for the 1st operation and system will allow you to enter the confirmation adn it is not mandatory to enter the confirmation for the 1st operation
3. Confirmation Not allowed : in the above said example you can use the control key with confirmation not allowed for the 4th operation and system will not allow you to enter the confirmation this is just for reference.

For MES you can just use the control key with Mile stone operation for the last operation and the confirmation required for the previous operations.When you send the confirmation for the last operation from MES all the previous operations will be automatically confirmed
