ATP check runs through all items after each modification in Sales Order

Dear Gurus,

We are using SAP ERP 6.0 with EHP8.

The issue:

In VA02 the Availibility Control window pops up after each field update and each scroll in the sales order. We have to click through the confirmed delivery dates for all items (from the actual selected item to the last item) line by line which is very time consuming. It is not normal functioning as the Availibility Control window should appear only upon request (when clicking the ATP check button).

Can someone please advise how to solve this issue / disable the screen from popping up each time?

Hello,

For your Availability Check group (assigned in Material Master Sales/General View), check the following:

T-Code: OVZ2

Here against the Checking Groups, look what is mentioned for Response. If it is "1", make it "0" and create a new Sales Order.
