alernate Bom does not explose in Production Process Order

Hi Guy

I have created an alternate BOM but when I changed by Production Process Order (COR2), my alternate BOM under the Production Vers is changed but the Bill of Material, the alternate section is still remain 1 instead of 2.

the alternate BOM is valid from 17.12.2008 to 31.12.2008.

Any idea how to resolve this problem.

Hi ,

Goto MRP 4 view in material master and check the production version 2 details.

Double click the production version 02 , it should contain the BOM =Alt BOM "2' created.

If this is correct when you change the Production Version in CR02 by going to Read PP Master system will show the Alternate BOM 2 itself.
