System requirements for Web UI clients

Dear experts,

where can I find the system requirements, that a client desktop has to fulfil in order to use the Web UI in our SAP CRM EHP1 system?

Hello

The answer is: It depends :). It depends on your NW version and your Application Server.

Obviously, you need a web browser. If you run Internet Explorer, you can use either IE7 or IE8. If you prefer Mozilla Firefox, you can use up to Firefox 3.5.

When it comes to operating systems, all latest Windows releases are supported.

What is not supported yet is Internet Explorer 9 with Windows 7. Tests are being performed, but a release date is not available yet.

There are very specific Notes in service.sap.com that describe the browser requirements and I think you can find them also in the master guide for the release. The PAM is not that helpful as it does explain all the things left out of the browser support.

Let's try Note 1430376 which is titled browser Compatibility of SAP CRM 7.0 Innovations 2010

To find this note you can do a search in service.sap.com on component CRM* keyword browser support sort descending order.

You also can review OSS note 1114557 for browsers on earlier releases.
