Dear all,
we are facing an issue in our contact person management processes. This is our architecture: accounts and contacts are maintained in C4C system, intregrated with ERP (on premise) system. Then ERP system is sending masterdata to Commerce cloud (where the customer is actually the contact person).
Now, all is good for contact creation, but we are actually quite confused on how to manage the deactivation of a contact person. We are in a quite straightforward scenario when same contact is never related to more than one account, therefore we don't have at lest this issue.
In C4C we have the "set as obsolete" action for contacts, therefore we were hoping it would trigger some action in ERP and therefore Commerce too, but nothing seems to be triggered by it, so it seems a bit useless at the end of the day.
Did you face this issue too, and do you have any guidelines for us?
Thank you and bets regards
Alessandra
Hi Alessandra,
When you change the status of the contact person this replicates from C4C to SAP ECC and also in the other direction. This is standard functionality. If you set the DeletedIndicator is it displayed in the web service message and inbound idoc?
