one simple way to resolve this issue is by adding an entry in the HOST file. put an entry here for the hostname and the ip address and it sould be resolved. Your Basis team should be able to help you with this.Thanks,Karthik

In the technical definition for your ECC system in SLD what is definied as the Integration server. This parameter should have your XI server as the IS and not your ECC system. also check if thesystem user ID's are not locked.Thanks,Karthik
