Workflow not triggered even when Linkage is activated

Hi All,

I need to configure work flow for Idoc type BOMMAT.I have activated standard task TS00408177 for the same with Business Object IDOCBOMMAT and Event as INPUTERROROCCURED and activated the event linkage.

But whenever this idoc fails means it comes to status 51, the work flow is not generated.

Could anyone tell me the reason?

Hello,

Which workflow? Check what its starting events are and if they are activated.

Also look in SWEL (event trace) to make sure the events are being created.

Maybe also look in SWB_COND for any start conditions for that linkage.

I have checked all the start events and conditions.All are correctly configured.The event linkage is also activated.

I think the event is not triggered.What should be the procedure if Idoc comes into status 51 so how it triggers the workflow.

Do i needto do something in the process code of the Idoc.

It seems in WE40, task has not been configured. Just check this

Hi, In WE40, check any entry is there for your process code and task number and Inactive field should be blank. If not create a new entry and make sure, Inactive is blank
