Where can I find one of the host agent library libsapacosprep.sl for HP-UX IA64?

Hi,

I have downloaded the Host Agent package for HP-UX IA64 [ SAPHOSTAGENT99_99-20005726.SAR]. Upon extraction, I am unable to find libsapacosprep.sl. Isn't this library bundled with the package? If not, where can I find it?

Upon extraction you will find the following files

hostagent.lst

You need to the file  libsapacosprep.so (shared object) for ACC functionality. The .sl extension was used previously.

Can you download the file SAPHOSTAGENT115_115-20005726.SAR

the lastest patch or previous patch 114 and check if that has the shared object .

Check this patch level info

As suggested, I downloaded both SAPHOSTAGENT114_114-20005726.SAR &  SAPHOSTAGENT115_115-20005726.SAR, but upon extraction couldn't find the library.

It seems very different from other operating systems . I am using AIX and LINUX RHEL .

An extract from the above doc

HP-UX platform library

It is available on HP SE SAP ACC A.02.01 CD under \libraries\HP-UX 11.23 - 11.31 IA64.

The following steps are required for setting up this HP-UX platform library:

• copy libsapacosprep.so to /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/

• create a soft link under /usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/ by executing the following command:

ln -s libsapacosprep.sl libsapacosprep.so

It seems HP provide this library and this the reason you are not able to find it in the SAPHOSTAGENT archive.
