If I understand your question, you are asking if you don't renew your support contract what is the ramification? If that's the question you are asking then you would lose support in term of bug fixes, upgrades and technical support. I recommend your review your contract for more details.

The system will continue to work in the current setup in the current environment. The risk if there is an update to the environment sush as OS update that may cause issues, requiring software update that you may not have access to.
