So can we expect SAP to support WS-AtomicTransaction or WS-BusinessActivity or any other upcoming WS standard for transaction handling in the future ?

Hello Sham,

Each currently released SAP Enterprise Services is ATOMIC. This means that all operations that are contained within an Enterprise Service will either be successfully completed or all rolled back.

In addition to this, the ES infrastructure will not currently rollback a transaction that spans multiple Enterprise Services if one fails. Expect this funtionality to evolve in the next comming releases.
