Hi,

I am trying to get bo user fron freehand SQL. While I write the query,it is working fine. but when i open the report its is giving me syntax error when opened but while refreshing the webi report manually i am able to get desired results.

Query:select @VARIABLE('BOUSER') AS user FROM DUMMY

Error: incorrect syntax near@. please refer KBA 2054721

Hi Sheetal,

I cannot reproduce this at all. So you're saying when you run the freehand sql query for the first time it runs just fine. Then after setting the document to refresh on open, closing the document and opening again it throws the error when the auto-refresh kicks in?

Did you have a look at the trace logs? Have you tried running the query against any other real table in your schema?

Regards,

Tom
