Good afternoon,
This time my question is regarding to getting the Userid or Username from the OS (Windows XP) and importing it into a variable in any Crystal report.
I mean, How i could get the User ID from the system and adding it into a report, so we know who asked the report...
Ok i could prepare the report in order to promp for the userid, but i think this is not the correct way..
Any idea about this ?
Thks for any help.

This is not posible I'm afraid
If the user is logging on to the db using individual credentials then you coudl create a SQL Expressionand and use the User() function,

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You can create a UFL that provides this function or purchase a UFL that includes that function.
At least one of the UFLs listed at http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html includes such a function.
Thks to both of you for your replies, i'll try to see both solutions.
