Hello Experts,
I'm trying to set logon policy for a WS.
My target is to prevent a user named 'wsapprovals' from running the WS.
I followed the steps from:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/46/9c94a5ee464242a42a143b7309a235/content.htm
1) I enabled the parameter 'ume.logon.apply_logon_policies'
2) I created a rule (see rule.jpg)
3) I applied the rule on the WS (I didn't know to which exact modules of the WS I need, so I applied it to all modules) - (see components.jpg).
Web modules are: wsapprovals, wsapprovalsear and Config (logical port)
4) I wrote a simple .net client and used the credentials of 'wsapprovals' and user was able to run the WS successfully.
What am I missing?
J2EE is 7.31 SP6.
Regards,
Omri
Got an official answer from SAP:
The logon policy for WS is hardcoded and cannot be changed )-:
