Table fields from type SSTRING and Crystal Reports

Hello,

we want to access a SAP table from Crystal Reports. There are two fields in this table from the new datatype SSTRING (domain RSCHAVL).

The fields are not shown in Crystal Reports. Is there a possibility to show the fields?

Table: RSZRANGE

Fields: LOW / HIGH

for an infoset query on some table like RSZRANGE the following KBA describes a Workaround:

the only workaround is to

"change the data type of the object in the SAP system from: STRING to the data type: CHAR"

Interesting limitation and workaround hardly implementable on a BW (this kind of fields being generally on standard table in this kind of systems).
