sybase ase 160 설치 중 RUN_SYBASE 실행했을 때 오류

안녕하세요 sybaseASE 160 설치 도중 문의사항이 생겼습니다.

위와 같은 내용으로 설치를 진행하였고

설치가 정상적으로 완료되었습니다.

그러나,

이후에 RUN_sybase 를 실행하려하면 아래와 같은 에러가 뜹니다.

[sybase@hyperM install]$ ./RUN_sybase

이를 무시하고 db로 접속하려하면

[sybase@hyperM ~]$ isql

bash: isql: 명령을 찾을 수 없습니다...

라는 메시지가 뜨며 db로 접속불가합니다.

해당 오류에 대한 해결방안 문의드립니다.

As Juergen said it seems that ASE instance is running on the machine.
Please check it using ps command.

ps -ef |grep dataserver

Before running isql utility, you should set some environment variables for SAP ASE.

For bash shell run the command to set the environment variables.

cd /home/sybase/ase
. ./SYBASE.sh

--for C shell

cd /home/sybase/ase
source ./SYBASE.csh

You can call SYBASE.sh at .profile of the sybase login account.

cd
vi .profile

. /home/sybase/ase/SYBASE.sh

이미 ASE instance가 실행중인 것 같습니다.
telnet 창에서 ps 명령어로 아래와 같이 확인해 보시기 바랍니다.

ps -ef | grep dataserver

또한 isql을 실행하기 위해서는 SAP ASE 관련 환경변수 설정이 필요합니다.
이러한 환경변수는 인스톨러가 SYBASE.sh or SYBASE.csh에 추가해 놓았으니 isql을 사용하기 전에 이것을 실행하시면 쉽게 필요한 환경변수를 설정할 수 있습니다.

cd /home/sybase/ase
. ./SYBASE.sh

--for C shell

cd /home/sybase/ase
source ./SYBASE.csh

로그인 후 자동으로 환경변수를 설정하기 위해서는 .profile에서 SYBASE.sh를 호출하면 됩니다.

cd
vi .profile

. /home/sybase/ase/SYBASE.sh

Hi,

unfortunately I can read the ASE log output only and not your remarks.

But if it refers to the master device thing, either ASE is already running (so this ASE is accessing the master device) or it is an issue on os-level. Maybe you can check the note: 1867793 - "Master already in use" & "Unable to read primary master device" on starting SAP ASE - SAP...
