Hi Screen Personas Community.
I hope everyone is having a good week and is healthy during this Covid 19 times.
I have a question for you today, We are interested in measuring the performance of the overall Slipstream Engine in our system; While doing some google research I came across this parameter in the SAP Help website: sap-se-profiler
I wasn't able to find more information about how to use it or what it is used for.
Have you used in the past? if so, what kind of information does it provide?
Thanks!!
Hi Enrique,
Currently, I suggest to use the Google Chrome Developer tools for performance profiling and network trace inspection. The SAP Screen Personas team is researching options to provide debugging tools to our customers which would help building better performing flavors. Stay tuned.
The sap-se-profiler parameter enables a tool that is used by the team to evaluate performance issues and may not be very convenient to be used by customers directly. Therefore, there is no user documentation for this feature.
To give you more insight, by setting the &sap-se-profiler=DEBUG parameter to the Slipstream Engine URL, the console will contain the abstract control tree of the given screen including the rendering times for each control DOM representation:
Thank you!
Best regards,
Krists Magons SAP Screen Personas Dev Team
