Hi,
May I know if I want to send email alert to notify user if any error (eg: order booked with de-activated part) found during IDoc processing (via FM IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS or IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG), what would be the appropriate way to achieve this? Is it okay if I send email using class CL_BCS in a userexit inside FM IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS or IDOC_INPUT_ORDCHG? Thanks.

SAP offers a standard workflow mechanism to respond to failed IDocs. There is a lot of information out there describing how to use it. This blog is just one example.
