Select RFC for ADS

The report FP_TEST_00 asks us to input the name of RFC for ADS. We have not used the default name ADS but ADS_<SID>.

We have functional consultants who run ADS for PDF Conversion in PA30 .. However, there seems to be no way to tell the system which RFC destination to select for ADS ?

Any clue ?

Hi,

RFC creation Procedure:

1)Logon to your SAP WEb AS cneatral instance host

2)Call Transaction SM59

3)choose create

4)Enter at least the following

RFC destination:ADS

connection type:G

description<your description>

5)Chose enter

6)Choose the technicalsetting tab and enter at least the follwing

Traget Host

I.P address

Path prefix:/AdobeDocumentService/Config?style=rpc

service NO:5<00>00

ADS is running fine.. FP_TEST_00 is working fine too but only when I select the RFC ADS..

I need to know where should I mention the correct RFC Destination (ADS_SID) for pa30 ?

Hi

I Configured ADS in my system.but any where i haven't mentioned to use specific RFC,So i recommend you to use same RFC(ADS) suggested by SAP.If u find any solution please share.
