SAP BW Data Load after Company Code Merger in Source-SAP ECC.

Hi Experts,

My client is merging company code 1000 to company code 2000 in the SAP ECC system.

From SAP BW Perspective,What are the impacts/Challenges on this activity?

For the Data load,My considerations are,

Approach 1: Selective Deletion of the company 1000,2000 data and reload (Filter out-1000) after Merger.

Approach 2: Create a Backup DSO(NEW),Load all data to DSO(NEW) from OLD DSO(Company Code Data).Then Load data from Source system to OLD DSO and Validate.

Is there any other better solution for this scenario? Please suggest.

3.Also how would be the Inter company relationship works for Coco-1000 --->to Coco 3000. after Deletion of Coco 1000.
