Use user input variable for repost process

Hi,

I want to use a global input variable created for a repost process, how do I achieve that?

My scenario:

- There will be a repost function on the planing folder

- User can select a row or many rows then click the repost function button, then a popup window will appear for user to input the value for the variable

Is it possible with the scenario? Please advise if I can use standard repost function or should i create a FOX or exit function for this purpose.

I have drag the variable to folder variable part, and now how to force user to input the value for this variable before repost process?

and each time open the planning folder, there is a warning said 'Characteristic ZBTUMCH of variable VARMACH(ZBBTU) does not appear in any used level',

what does it mean?

please advise.

Hi,

we always get warnings for all the variables we used in the folder, when we open the folder in display or in edit mode. You can neglect this, not a problem.

when u execute the folder, first we wil see the list of variables ready for selection. Then we need to select values for these variables or hav to input the values. Then u have to execute the function. Otherwise u will get errors.
