SAP System Rename Problem

Hi,

I want to rename a system PRD to TST with the SWPM .

I've to mention that the related database is SAP HANA DB.

During the Input Phase the following error occurs:

cannot get database type from 'E:\usr\********\profile\DEFAULT.PFL' SOLUTION:Maintaint profile parameter j2ee/dbtype.

then I added the parameter j2ee/dbtype to the DEFAULT.PFL file with the value of HANA but the error occurred which mentions that : System Rename is not supported for hanadb on windows.

notice : I ran sapinst and on SWPM i chose System Rename -- Standard System -- SAP System Rename.

what should I do for that?

Hi Elahe

Since you are getting the message System Rename is not supported, I would suggest you to perform a system copy on the same hosts "Appli&DB" by deleting the PRD instance first "without dropping the database", you would be able to choose TST as a name for the system.
