Netweaver user administration

Hi All,

I am new at Netweaver. I am not able to create user although I have all super_admin-roll, it getting error "An error occurred, contact system administrator".

Please assist.

please use administrator user for create a new user and check administrator user have correct role and authorization

Hi Pankaj,

I am using USER ADMINISTRATION-->IDENTITY MANAGEMENT--> Create Role have checked I am using administrator user with full authorization. We have ECC users mapped, I can edit them, but not able to create new user of EP.

please check may be there is LDAP use in back end.Please ask and check with security team or some one who know this point

As of now we have mapped system to ABAP only. Please suggest. no security team is here only I have to do it.

If your system is configured with ABAP system then once you create id in ABAP system it will automatically create on EP system.

i have see ur screen shot plz give id xxx and click create user.

Yes you are right. ABAP users automatically is on EP system.
I have tried is xxx and then creating user it getting error. As I want to create EP user, I already have ECC user. So how to create EP user? Is there any configuration issue?

Hello Shakti,

If you are using ECC as UME for EP then you cannot do user adjustments in EP. you need to do all user related modifications in backend ECC. please refer link
