Hello Gurus - I have a multi action that is being called in Calendar Event. This multi action would extract the data from S4 and loads into SAC Dimensions and Models. While loading the data into models, I am unlocking all periods and locking them back once the loads are completed. However, this is locking the forecast period which is causing issues with Planning.
Any input on passing forecast period dynamically to "Data Locking Step" in multi action? I have forecast starting and ending months in a dimension with member id WKFCSTDEF and properties StartMonth and EndMonth. Please do remember, this multi action is called from Calendar event as daily job.
Any other alternate approach is also fine with me. I want to unlock forecast period after daily loads.
Thanks,
PS
The only way I see is that you hard code the forecast periods in Data lock and unlock steps of the multi action. Currently its not possible to set parameters using attributes of a dimension.

Hi N1kh1l,
I am thinking to use your suggestion for my scenario, do you think it is possible?
1) I get Actuals from BW in public. Actual version first, then I use the Forecast "Act Start Week" and Actuals End Week" to understand how many weeks of Actuals need to be copied from "public. Actual" to "public.FM_202403" via the data action.
2) Because I want to see both the Actuals and Forecast data in one line, hence both Actuals and Forecast is sharing the same intersection, I do not use the Forecast Layout here
3) I have an input layout that has Restricted measures to accept Qty and Price restricted to AD_INV_INP at Farm "#" which is the only interface available for users to input the data. i want to just lock the Actuals period on this input layout to not allow the users input at AD_INV_INP but later when they run the data action, I want it to open the Actuals and then copy the latest Actual against AD = AD_INV_STOCK or AD_INV_STOCK_VAL.
