Issue When Exporting Crystal Report to Excel

I'm using CR 2016 for a while now and have never come across this issue. In one of my reports, when exporting to excel (both with "data only" and regular excel export options) I lose a significant number of rows which contain data. I'm fairly sure all my rows and columns are aligned and sized properly as always. This is very frustrating and appreciate someone's help with this.

Thanks!

Hi since it is realted one report, I would check the formulas used in the report, especially which are used to show/hide sections, if this behavoiur is observed also PDF export. I suggest to do the following test workflow:

1.Open your report

2. Delete the half of the formulas

3. Export to excel.

If you not experienced with the issue, that the formulas causing the behavoiur located in the deleted part.

You can repeat this workflow (always delete half of the formulas) until the export is working as expected.

Regards,

János
