how can I have a dynamic text with dimension input control on analytic application designer ?

Hello everyone,

I want to have a dynamic title table or text according toa dimension input control on my storie page on analitycs application designer.

The problem is when I press on "add dynamic text" I can only choose filter and not my input control ?

So, how can I have a dynamic text with input control on analytics application designer? A little context on the problem, I want to add the text on a popup window. I already sorted out the popup window.

Hey, 

not sure if I understand your question correctly. 

When adding dynamic text you can choose any of your input controls, which would then apply the values chosen by the user as the text in a text widget for example.

Hi Simon,

It seems the customer expects dynamic text to be available on input controls within the popup window. Currently, dynamic text can be applied to filters in the popup, but not to input controls. To achieve dynamic text on input controls in the popup, separate input controls need to be created within the popup itself, as those created at the story level cannot be used.

Actually, it's like Simon said, the dynamic text will be in the popup window, it's not a simple dynamic text that will appear in the page story. I need to show what filter are being applied to the page, from the dimension input control. Not story filter, still, it was helpful understing the limitations. Kind regards
