Excel VBA calls remote function module: How to call the rfc with an XML as input?

Hi,

I have a XML string as importing parameter of my function module. I need call the function module from Excel VBA. CHARXY works. String and XString doesn't work as data type in ABAP.

How can I send the XML as table? I don't get it? Is SOLI_TAB a good data type?

What is the best data type to call the remote function with large string-like XML data?

Do you have a hint for me, krzysztof.konitz4 ?

Why you cannot use string (or table of strings) as data type in your function parameters ?
As I remember it should be possible…
