EPM Add-in SP27 doesn't appear in Excel com addins

Hello,

I installed epm add-in (SP27) successfully but when I open excel I dont see epm tab.

I am using Windows 8.1 office 2010 and BPC Netweaver version.

I tried going to excel options and com addins to see if epm shows up there, but it doesnt.

When i open webportal en try to open Epm Office Add-in Excel, i got the message : Impossible to find the EPMXLClientAddin.

please some advise. thanks.

we found the problem; when installing EPM the program tried to write in Temp (like exe files) and this was not allowed by protection scanner.

When we tried it without the protection scanner; it went well.

Hi Nancy,

try closing excel, renaming the EPMXLClientPreference.XML file and then recreate it new by opening Excel, test if after it works. If not try reinstalling epm add-in.
