Consume BSEG data via SDA

Hi experts

we need to read data in hdb (release 1.00.122.27.1568902538) via SDA from cluster table BSEG in ERP (version NW 7.50 SP 16). As direct reading via CDS or SDA from any cluster or pool table is not supported by SAP would it be possible to read the data from BSEG via an intermediary DDIC view in our ERP system?

E.g:

• BSEG -> DDIC view -> CDS -> SDA -> hdb or better
• BSEG -> DDIC view -> SDA -> hdb

Short: Use SDI ABAP adapter instead of SDA Hana adapter.

As the cluster encoding/decoding lives in the ABAP layer, you must read via the ABAP layer. SDA does not have a connector for that, but the SDI extension of SDA does - the ABAP adapter. With that your task is trivial.
