Can't stop the prompt, "Do you want to open or save ags_work_appln.sap..."

While using Solution Manager (CBTA, etc.) i constantly get the prompt, "Do you want to open or save ags_work_appln.sap..." I have followed Note 1559107 which says to set up a SAP Logon rule to defeat this annoying prompt. Has ANYONE been able to get this note to work?

This has worked for me. Click Save. Then View downloads. Find the file "ags_work_appln.sap", Right click and Uncheck the option to "Always ask before opening this type of file". hope this helps!

Hello Theresa,

The option "Always ask before opening this type of file" was appearing when the SOLMAN version was 7.2 SPS04 but we recently upgraded the support pack to SPS08 and the IE popup "Do you want to save ags_work_appln.sap from...... " is again appearing.

The only change that i observe is the earlier link was with http and now the link is with https.

Can you please help me ?
