BEx Analyzer - Business for Client

Hi,

I am trying to understand what should be the future course of the Bex Analyzer. I understand that the tool that should replace the Bex Analyzer is named Business for Client??

If I am not confused there was a tool named Pioneer and it has evolved, does anyone know which is the actual name and in what version it is or is it in ramp up? Is this the same as Business for Client?

Hello,

BEx Analyzer will be replaced by SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis, this tool was previously known as Pioneer.

Hello,

SAP BEx analyzer 7.0 and SAP BEx Web analyzer 7.0 stay in maintenance mode per SAP's release strategy. There is no end of life planned for these tools.

Please note that BEx analyzer and SAP BEx Web version 3.5 against a BW 7.0 or higher backend follow the same release strategy as BW 7.0, with end of mainstream maintenance set for December 2015. Mainstream maintenance of SAP NetWeaver BW 3.5 ended on March 31, 2010.
