Ratio in SAP Analytics Cloud

Dear Expert,

I am trying to create different types of ratios in SAP SAC for CFO of a company.

Ratios are Current ratio, Acid-test ratio, Cash ratio, Debt ratio, Asset turnover ratio, Inventory turnover ratio, Receivables turnover ratio, Return on equity ratio, NPV, ROI.

How can I prepare this ratios? Which data source I need to use to prepare these ratios?

Hi,

First, you should connect to your company’s financial system to get the right data. Common sources are SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC Finance modules for balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow data; BW Queries or HANA Views if the finance data is already modeled there; or a flat file upload such as Excel or CSV if you want to test ratios using exported financial statements.
