Hi All,
We are planning to set up SDS to send out alerts in case a connected system goes down. I know there are options to process system information logs and then get that data into HANA to create continuous queries but I haven't found any specific document in which this has been implemented.
If you have developed something similar or if there is a document which can help in this then that would be great.
Thanks,
Arminder Singh
Hello Arminder,
SAP has developed a solution for IT Operations Analytics based HANA and HANA smart data streaming . The solution documentation is available on the SAP help portal at SAP IT Operations Analytics 2.0 – SAP Help Portal Page
I have provided one slide from a presentation deck below. Let me know if you want more information about this.

Also, without relying on the IT Operations Analytics solution, you have the option of implementing a custom solution. While we don't have an example showing exactly how, I would recommend one of the tutorials here in the SDS developer center to get a feel for how to use and deploy SDS, and how to define continuous queries that run on the SDS server. You could experiment with available adapters for monitoring the connected system(s).
