Hello,
we are facing problems with the local SLD. We want to use ESS/MSS Business Packages in the Portal, but they don't work since there is no JCo Connection available. So I connect to the SLD to configure these.
When I log on to the SLD with User Administrator I get the error that I don't have enough privileges, and I should at least have UME-Role com.sap.lcr.LcrUser & J2EE-Role LcrUser.
I checked the Administrator and it has these roles.
When I open the Visual Administrator and goto Cluster -> Server -> Services -> SLD Data Supplier I get an error. When I stop and start the service in the Visual Admin I get following error:
Error while loading service SLD Data Supplier
com.sap.engine.services.adminadapter.exception.AdminException: com/sap/sldserv/vaclient/ClientManagementGui$WaitForServiceIf
Anyone help?

Hi Lohi,
thanks for the link, but that doesn't help.
Reason: The CIM Client Generation Settings tab doesn't exist in my Visual Admin.

Hello,
I have the same issue now on my solution manager 4.0 system
I cannot access the SLD Data Supplier area anymore.
The problem was that I accessed the system which runs on SP9 with a Vis admin on SP7
I now updated the vis admin to SP9 and now I can access the SLD again.
