Open SAP Logon GUI thru http url

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to setup SAML2 authentication from 3rd Party SAML Identity Provider(IdP) to SAP Netweaver. I have successfully established SAML2 connection setup with SAP WEBGUI url and SSO works perfectly.

However I want to launch SAP Logon Pad via SAML IdP inspite of webgui. Can this be done by creating some services in SICF or any other alternative?

Hi - you would need to look into leveraging SAP Single Sign On application 'Secure Login Server' and 'secure login client' to launch sapgui logon with SAML authentication.

There is no direct way to launch sapgui from SAML idP.

Thanks Chris for your guidance. After researching more about Secure Login Server for SAML2, I found mentioned blog which I would try to implement.
