Hi All,
Just wanted to know if we can merge the cells of a single row in a table and not merge the rest of the cells of the other rows in a table .

Wats the requirement... how will a merged cell help you !
In which way is this single table cell inadequate for ur requirements..
If your requirement is to provide a common header for two columns you should better use textViews and adjust the columns spans accordingly.

Yep i precisely want to do that but text view does not have a coloumn span property . is there any control wherin i can specify the col span property?
Probably the problem with the layout try Grid or Matrix layout for the TransparentContainer.

It is not possible to do this in table UI element of webdynpro. If you can tell us your requirement problem we can discuss with alternative solutions.
