Hi all,
We are migrating to S/4HANA and our ATC lists all usage of ENQUEUE_ESINDX (Used to make sure sure program/table is only used by one person at a time) as priority 1 "error". In the attached SAP Note there's no mention of this FM specifically, it's a general note for SAP S/4HANA custom code adaption - removal of orphaned objects.
I've tested the programs and this functionality specifically and it's still working just fine. Should I be worried this would be suddenly removed in a minor update in the future?
If I need to address this, what should I use instead of ENQUEUE_ESINDX and DEQUEUE_ESINDX?
Thanks,
Birgir Snorrason
Look at the description of the package of this lock object ESINDX...
Do you get same error with lock object EINDX (FM ENQUEUE_EINDX)
