import fail in ID

hI all,

am getting the below error on inporting the tpz file in QA ID. i have checked the SLD and the target is maintained there. please help.

cache refresh/restart done but of no help.

Import failed because of business system transfer: According to information in the SLD, the object Service | BS_DEV to be imported must be mapped to Service | BS_QEC. This would overwrite an object also to be imported with the identical key

thanks a lot guys for the information. had gone for a vacation so could not close this.

The issue was with the Intergration server reflected for the BS . It reflected Dev after SLD Import. soi have changed to QA and it got resolved. thanks.

If BS_DEV and BS_QEC are business systems then:

before transporting ID objects make sure you have set the transport target of BS_DEV as BS_QEC and then transport.

If BS_DEV and BS_QEC are business services/component and are not maintianed in SLD, then:

Its actually not advisable to name your business services based on eviornments like BS_DEV and BS_QEC .

Now, either you have to change the BService name in Dev and keep it constant across enviornments or you have to change/ configure the ID objects in each of the enviornments.

Hi Kanan,

Before transporting the objects you need to make sure that all the objects are active and in SLD , the target Business system need to be defined. Check this and and then try to re-transport the objects.

Hi kanan,

First try to transport your Business system from SLD .Go to Business system in DEV SLD -

> click on transport groups tab -

>>.add your QAS and PRD transport groups there and try to transport the .TPZ file.....then you would be able to do that successfully....

one more thing to keep in mind is after you transport ID objects you need to change your paths..and connections and then activate all your objects so that you willl not get any errors....
