How to Read SAP UI5 Demo Kit

Hello Guys,

This question might sound bit weird. Actually i am a ABAPer jumping into SAP UI5 and referring to the SAP UI5 Demo Tool kit for some reference. Being a ABAPer I am used to go deeper in the function modules in editor and to check parameter listing and their types/possible values. But while working in SAP WebIDE and using few controls and their methods, i am not sure how i can achieve this. For details i went to demo tool kit for list control (https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/#/api/sap.m.List/constructor), in constructor i found type object, what exactly this means, what type of object? how we can know this. Moreover what is the best way to know about any object type? its parameter from WebIDE itself?
