Can anyone tell me if it is possible to hide a query filter cell from the query results? I only want the query result.
Hi Bao,
I assume that you are using BEx in Excel.
You can put the filter cells on a separate worksheet from the query result table.
You can hide the worksheet that has the filter cells on it.
Or, you can leave both on the same worksheet and hide the rows that have the filter cells on them.
Or, you can leave both on the same worksheet and "group" the rows that have the filter cells on them, then hide the grouping (Excel menu; Data >> Group). This way, the user can easily unhide them to see what filters were set if they want to.

thanks for the response
Here is what i'm doing. I've created a rporting agent for a web template to export an excel file via download sheduler. When it is exported the filter cell and results are displayed even thought the web template allows you to not display the filter cells. I guess download scheduler just dumps the data into excel with whatever is in the document store.
So i was hopeing to hide the filter cell in the query properties. The reporting agent...download schduler is automated so i can't open >30 worksheet and hide or delete the filter cell manually.
How do you put the filter cell on another worksheet? is this an excel or query function.
