How to convert .txt to .project file

HI,

I have developped a webdynpro project after for the modification I changed .Project and It modified as .txt file perminently.

Here How can i Change the .txt into .project file .

Please help me for this.

Hi,

I believe this relates just to the renaming of file in Window

Go to some Windows folder->tools->folder Options->View

Uncheck the option hide the extension of known filetypes.

Just remove the .txt from the filename of the .project file.

Here U said all the things are OK.

But Here in my file propertirs I want openwith "Unknown Application" but it is with notepad .

How to change my file properties change Notepad to "UnknownApplication"

Plese guide me for this..

Hi Nageswara,

you cannot do this from the windows graphical UI, but you can open a DOS-prompt: Start - Execute... - type CMD, Enter - change into the directory in question using "cd \some\dir\you\use", rename the file "rename some.txt .project".
