How can I get the right files and process to upgrade to Introscope 10.8?

We have ISAGENT version (ISAGENT_MIN_J5 , 10.8.0.1.20230718105842 ) deployed in system and we see that only SP00 of WILY INTROSCOPE ENTPR MGR 10.8 (WILYISEM00_0-80008165.ZIP) is available at market place which is older that ISAGENT.

Can you please help to get latest support pack for 10.8 version or let us know how to proceed in this case ?

Following the link and path under heading "Download" within the Notes, I can find WILYISMM01_0-80007823.ZIP which is the latest SP of EM.

For upgrades, please remember that the old EM installation must be fully removed (recommended to a backup directory). So essentially you are following the same process as a new installation. WhenIf you wish to keep any data from the EM you can follow this guide:

There are some 10.8 specific steps to be aware of that may be missed:

  • In the Release Notes, carefully read the "Compatibility" requirements (CR Content and SAP Note depending on Solution Manager version)
  • The platform specific installers come with a bundled Java VM. If for any reason you decide to run the installer or the Enterprise Manager with a different Java VM: Only Java 11 is supported. At times this bundled JVM may be overridden if some environment setting like JAVA_HOME is used. Please verify environment settings.
  • When installing the Management Modules, be sure to run osgiindex command
  • For latest EM version 10.8 SP01, be sure to follow instructions in Release Notes "Installation procedure for EM SP01". There are several important steps, including information that SP01 EM must use SP01 Management Modules.

Known issues when installing the EM are listed in the Release Notes too at the bottom with the tag "Problem". Consult this before opening a case, but if your issue is not described, please open a case with XX-PART-WILY
