Dear experts,
We recently installed a BW 7.0 system mounted on a VMWARE partition running MS Windows 2003 Server with SQL Server.
We are identifying severe performance issues in the system, checking at OS level we have identified the following problems:
1. The CPU keeps almost all the time around 100% of usage with the DB process with the highest consumption.
2. There is a high queue length metric idenfied at OS level that remains almost to the top.
Please provide your recommendations in order to help reduce this CPU and queue length if possible, and kind let us know if there could be any recommendation or tunning that could be applied in order to improve performance?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
what process is using 100%?
