Hierarchy Node variable with BW Live connection

Hello Team

We have a BW query which we are using in SAC through BW Live connection.

There is a hierarchy node variable in the query and when I select a top level node, the lower level nodes are not getting selected by default.
And if I run the query with this selection, it throws an error.

If I manually select the child nodes, it works fine.

Can you please help ? Is this a known issue ?

without knowing the exact version of your BW, it might be worth running the Note Analyzer to see if there are any leading edge fixes /ABAP notes to implement - please refer to https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2541557
