Fields of Embedded Components are not being save in SAP Business ByDesign.

Hi All,

I have created one EC(Embedded Components) and added to the material master screen as a new tab. In my EC I have a quantity field and a drop down field. Here are the scenarios where I am having issues.

1. If I enter only the quantity and do not enter the unit of measure and save it, it does not give me any error and do not save any data as well.

2. I enter the quantity, hit enter and then save. Then it gives me error to enter the unit of measure. Then I choose the unit of measure from the drop down and save it. Still it shows the same error. Basically it did not recognize the unit of measure I had chosen from the drop down.

I know that, once we enter the value or select it from drop down and then hit enter it works fine. But this is not the case with standard fields and I would expect the same for custom fields.

Any idea how we can resolve this issue.
