Error in Adapter Engine

Hi all,

I am getting following error in RWB>component monitoring>adapter engine null

of adapter engineframework

Unknown error: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1

pls help me to resolve it.

Hi Sreeramoju,

ensure that the XI components are the same patch level,

i.e., XI 3.0 note :-

<b>750511 SAP Exchange Infrastructure 3.0: Patch procedure >= SP04</b>

and that there are no inconsistencies,

i.e.

<b>#764176 Error in XI due to inconsistent SLD contents</b>

Hi Kenny Scott & all,

it was working fine from long ,and just from yesterday it is giving that particular error.

--> i am not using any content conversions..

Hi,

1) Check out the table space is sufficient

2) Re start the Java stack

Hi Sreeramoju,

Check if your J2EE engine is running fine. Go to SMICM and see the ICM status. Check the startup log of J2EE engine if there is any error in it. If you find any error in your XI J2EE engine startup, then from SMICM transaction restart your J2EE engine. Then your this problem may be solved.

are u using file content conversion (FTP adapter)? if yes check for the content conversion
