Error during Installation of SMD 730 on 64 bit Windows server

we are trying to install SMD 730 on a 64 bit windows server, but getting the following error:

Hi Naveen,

• This issue might be with Temp directory as described in the note:  1753595 - vcredist_x64.msi return code 1603:
• Just create the Create the path <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\tmp and try,
• You can also change the Temp directory in the user environment variable

Hi ,

Error 1603 points to some kind of permissions issue ,check the below knowledge based article

1753595 - vcredist_x64.msi return code 1603

Can you please download the file Vcredist_X86 using the below link and install it manually??

Once done, please try to start the sapinst from the first and see whether it works.

Also check the contents of the log file vcredist_x64.log

Hello Vimal,

Thanks for your reply.

We have checked your recommendations, but the tmp folder is already in place and restarting the SAPINST has resulted in the same error.

Also no where in the error it is mentioned as a vcredist_x64 issue.

Kindly check and let me know for other solutions.
