Display the data of an ABAP program or FM in a composite provider

Hi,

Is there a way to display the data of an abap program or an FM in a composite provider?

Basically, I wanted to show the data generated by an abap program in a BW QUERY WITHOUT STORING the data of the abap program to any table.

Is this possible?

In BW/4 maybe the BAdI Provider?

Or if you have BW 7.5 or below, you could create a SAPI extractor and consume it by an Open ODS View via ODP_SAPI.

There is no graphical editor for the BAdI provider. It is created using the BAdI RSO_BADI_PROVIDER:

Do you have like a basic sample of using the badi infoprovider? Like a blog or something which you found before as I can't find any aside from the SAP link below.

I think you can just take a look at one of the example BADI providers in BW/4. There is a template BAdI Provider delivered by the SAP BW/4HANA content for Finance: FI-GL Balance Sheet Reporting (3BVBFIGL01).. You can check this resource for more info:
