Dear professionals,
I have the following scenario:
When an event is triggered in SAP S/4 Hana backend, I want to send OData to the event mesh in SAP BTP. The standard configuration is working fine, described in this blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2020/07/01/how-to-use-sap-s-4hana-event-enablement-with-sap-cloud-platform-en/
But now I want to have my own topic from a "new" z-object. I followed the steps described in this blog https://blogs.sap.com/2021/06/18/business-events-in-s-4hana-on-premise-system-topic-for-custom-event... but when I go to outbound binding in transaction /IWXBE/CONFIG the table of topics to choose from stays the same. My z-object does not appear in the list.
Does anyone used custom topics? How to get the custom topic into the list under repository ID BEH? Maybe I've missed a step.
This are the steps I've done so far:
In SPRO:
(Under NetWeaver)
- Maintain Object type and Category
- Maintain Object Representation
- Maintain Key Structure and CDS View
- Maintain Object Node Type
- Maintain CDS View
- Configure Object Type linkage
(Under Cross-Application Components)
- Maintain SAP Object Trask Type
- Maintain Business Object Keys
Transaction: /IWXBE/CONFIG
View: V_BOEVENT
Thank you very much.
Greetings
Enrico
