Connect from SAP gateway to RFC server failed

Hi,

I am working on proxy to Ftp scenario. The problem is if we create any confirmation in ECC using one program we are getting following error

"Connect from SAP gateway to RFC server failed

Connect_PM GWHOST=xx.xx.xx.xx, GWSERV=sapgw15, TPNAME=xx_xx

LOCATION SAP-Gateway on host xxx.tsi.xxx.net / sapgw15

ERROR program xx_xx not registered."

Can anybody tell where the program will be registered or pls tell me how to register?

Thanks,

Arivarasu S

Do an SLD check in you ECC system

Normally we get these kind of errors only for RFC sender based communications !

Did you try calling the proxy from the SPROXY of ECC ?

Hi Rajesh,

We have the RFC destinations maintained in both ECC and XI system. But both system has the same program id. Connection test is also successful.

The program is present in ECC not in XI.

Thanks,

Hi,

Connection is not established properly between PI and ECC..

You need to create the two RFC destinations (SM59)SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC in ECC of type T and need to configure the progid as that of in PI for these RFC destinations...

Once done check the connection using SLDCHECK ..
